LLEGADA DEL CAMIIÓN DE BOMBEROS A PARAGUAY. ¡POR FIN!.

En sólo dos meses, el arduo trabajo y conversaciones lograron que los bomberos de Alicante donasen un camión de bomberos para el pueblo de San Roque González en Paraguay.
Han pasado más de dos años en organizar el transporte a su destino y hoy por fin el flamante camión de bomberos ha llegado, después de arduas gestiones y tiempo.
El Consorcio de Bomberos de la Diputación Provincial de Alicante donó un camión Pegaso matrícula A-4647-CY.
Lo difícil fue lograr el transportar el camión hasta Paraguay y un año de gestiones para encontrar la ruta y condiciones adecuadas. Se hicieron contactos con instancias oficiales con resultado nulo y finalmente fue la empresa madrileña ATLAS COMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL SA, que de forma altruista se hizo cargo del coste del transporte hasta su destino.

ARRIVAL OF THE FIRE ENGINE TO PARAGUAY. Finally !
  
In just two months, hard work and conversations with the firefighters of Alicante we managed to get a Fire Engine for the town of San Roque Gonzalez in Paraguay.
It has been over two years to arrange transportation to their destination and finally today the new fire engine has arrived, after arduous efforts and time.
The Consortium Fire the Diputación Provincial de Alicante donated a truck Pegaso with registration number A-4647-CY.
The challenge was to transport the truck to Paraguay and a year of efforts to find the route and conditions. Contacts were made with official agencies with nil and finally the company of Madrid, ATLAS COMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL SA,  altruistically took over the cost of transport to the destination.

The Rotary Club wishes to thank the collaboration of Francisco Javier Molla Castañer, president delegate of the Consortium of Provincial Fire Alicante, the fire brigade personnel from Denia, especially its head, Pepe Melenchón, and the provision of altruistic Lorenzo Roque officers, fireman that has volunteered to bring the truck by road to Bilbao.
